All reports, cost ranges, scopes of work, material takeoffs, line items, quantities, and unit prices are planning estimates only. They are not bids, quotes, contracts, appraisals, insurance valuations, or construction documents. They are not stamped engineering, architectural, or surveying work. They do not replace a licensed contractor, architect, structural engineer, designer, or code official. Actual costs and quantities depend on site conditions, local codes, material availability, labor markets, design changes, and supplier pricing.
Before you order materials, open a permit, sign a contract, or start work, you must verify all quantities, specs, and prices with your builder, supplier, lumberyard, and (where required) your engineer or designer. Clear Scope Home is not responsible for overages, shortages, wrong materials, or costs that result from relying on an estimate without verification.
Plan-based takeoffs, detailed reports, Bid Checker reports, Property Repairs Claim Check, and Mitigation Claim Check reports are generated automatically. Some reports may be quality-checked by a person on a random-sample basis or because the system flagged unusual quantities, materials, or costs. Most reports are not individually reviewed, and a quality check is not a guarantee, inspection, or professional certification. Automated reading may misread documents, miss notes, or miscount items. You accept that risk and remain solely responsible for checking the results.
In this draft website, files you select for upload remain in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. After launch, uploads will be processed only to generate your report and will be handled under a separate privacy policy. You represent that you have the right to use any plans you upload and that they do not infringe others' rights.
Clear Scope Home is not a public adjuster, insurance company, or claim representative. We do not negotiate claims, give legal or insurance advice, or act as your agent with any insurer. The Property Repairs Claim Check and Mitigation Claim Check (when offered) are documentation tools only.
When you upload a contractor bid (Bid Checker) an insurance adjuster's repair estimate (Property Repairs Claim Check), or a mitigation company's estimate or invoice (Mitigation Claim Check), the report is informational only: a comparison against typical regional cost ranges and a list of commonly overlooked items. It is not a bid, appraisal, insurance valuation, coverage opinion, or legal advice, and it does not rate any contractor's quality, licensing, or workmanship. We are not a public adjuster, do not negotiate or communicate with insurers or contractors for you, and do not act as your agent. Any decision to accept, question, or dispute a bid or claim estimate is yours. You represent that you have the right to upload the document. Sections 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8 (including the limitation of liability and the defend, indemnify, and hold harmless obligations) apply in full to these uploads and reports, including claims by contractors, insurers, and adjusters.
We do not build, design, or supervise your project. We do not sell leads to you unless you opt in after launch. Hiring any contractor or supplier is solely between you and that party.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEAR SCOPE HOME AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, COST OF COVER, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY REPORT, ESTIMATE, OR TAKEOFF, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO A REPORT OR TAKEOFF WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THAT SPECIFIC REPORT OR TAKEOFF IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Clear Home Scope LLC, doing business as Clear Scope Home, and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of any estimate, report, takeoff, or quantity; (b) materials you order or work you perform based on our output; (c) plans or files you upload; (d) your failure to verify quantities before ordering; or (e) your violation of these terms or of any law. This includes claims by suppliers, builders, homeowners, lenders, insurers, and government authorities.
You must check the acceptance box on the site before attaching plan files or completing checkout. Checking that box is your electronic signature accepting these Terms & Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not upload files and do not purchase.
Reports, takeoffs, checks, and kits are digital products delivered electronically. All sales are final. You must notify support of any problem with a report within 10 days of purchase. We will correct or re-deliver any report with an issue. Refunds are issued only for a gross error in the report or an incorrect charge (for example, a duplicate charge or a wrong amount). This section does not limit any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
Services are intended for projects in the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are not supported in this draft.
We may update these terms. The version posted at purchase governs that purchase. This draft will be replaced by an attorney-reviewed version before the site accepts paid orders.
